L'Arbre Blanc Les Fesses Vent 2320 Magnum
An estate rooted in Auvergne’s volcanic terrain, where Frédéric Gounan pursues natural viticulture with exacting care and respect for the terroir.
- Terroir : The volcanic and clay-limestone soils of Saint-Sandoux in Auvergne give the wines distinctive minerality and unique tension.
- Winemaking : Natural methods without additives produce lively, precise cuvées faithful to their origins.
Tasting notes for L’Arbre Blanc Les Fesses Vent 2320 Magnum
Appearance: Golden with green highlights, silky clarity and chalky density, revealing a generous, vibrant character.
On the nose: White flowers and candied citrus, followed by flint and acacia honey, with a saline touch on the finish evoking breezes across the Auvergne hillsides.
On the palate: A rich yet taut texture, driven by lively acidity and stony minerality, gives way to a long, persistent saline finish.
Serving temperature: 10–12°C – Use a Burgundy-style white wine glass to bring out its complexity.
2023 vintage
A distinctive cuvée whose “2320” suggests a stylistic signature more than a year, combining freshness and depth.
- Aging potential : Enjoy now or cellar for 5 to 8 years in a cool, dark place to allow its mineral nuances to develop.
