The cuvée Billecart-Salmon Brut Réserve embodies the expertise and excellence of Maison Billecart-Salmon, founded in 1818 and renowned for its refined and precise champagnes. Located in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, this family-run house focuses on slow vinification and extended lees ageing to preserve the purity and harmony of its cuvées.
This Brut is crafted from a balanced blend of 30% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay, and 40% Pinot Meunier, sourced from Champagne’s finest terroirs. The meticulous grape selection and prolonged ageing in the cellar ensure remarkable finesse and complexity.
Its pale gold hue is enhanced by fine, persistent bubbles. The nose is delicate yet expressive, revealing notes of pear, white flowers, and toasted almonds, with a hint of brioche. On the palate, the attack is fresh and refined, with a silky effervescence and a long finish featuring citrus and white-fleshed fruit aromas.
