Duroché Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru La Combe Aux Moines 2023 draws its soul from the limestone terroirs of Gevrey. This Pinot Noir, barrel-aged, captivates with its notes of red fruits, spices, and a floral touch. On the palate, silky and mineral, it pairs beautifully with game or cheeses after 3 to 5 years.
Domaine Duroché
Nestled in the heart of Gevrey-Chambertin, this family estate has perpetuated for generations a know-how deeply rooted in respect for the Burgundian terroir.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone and marly soils of the Côte de Nuits, shaping wines of remarkable minerality and depth.
- Vinification: Traditional methods combining precision and delicacy, to produce cuvées that express the purity of Pinot Noir.
Tasting Notes for Domaine Duroché Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru La Combe Aux Moines 2023
To the eye: an intense ruby robe with garnet reflections, of a silky and luminous texture.
On the nose: aromas of black cherry, violet, and licorice, lifted by a hint of undergrowth and a subtle chalky minerality.
On the palate: a lively and precise attack, carried by elegant tannins and a saline tension, leading to a long and harmonious finish.
Serve between 14 and 16°C in a Burgundy glass to reveal its full complexity.
Vintage 2023
A vintage marked by balanced ripeness, yielding wines that are both fruity and structured, typical of Gevrey-Chambertin.
- Aging potential: 10 to 15 years, to be stored under optimal conditions (stable temperature, controlled humidity).
