The Château Canon-la-Gaffelière 1975, Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé, is born on clay-limestone soils. This rare wine unveils aromas of prune, graphite and truffle, a silky and spiced palate, as well as a mineral freshness. Perfect with meat in sauce, it blossoms after decanting.

Tasting notes for Château Canon-la-Gaffelière 1975
To the eye – A garnet red robe with brick-red hues, of velvety texture, betraying a silky maturity.
On the nose – Aromas of candied prune, graphite and roasted coffee, lifted by a touch of black truffle and a subtle chalky salinity.
On the palate – A tender and fleshy attack, carried by lively acidity and limestone minerality, leading to a long, spiced finish where cinnamon and clove intertwine.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to reveal its full complexity.
