The Château Canon La Gaffelière 2011, Saint-Émilion Grand Cru, is born on clay-limestone soils. A blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, it captivates with its notes of dark fruits, spices and minerality. Silky tannins, elegant structure. To be enjoyed until 2028 with game or aged cheeses.

- Terroir : Clay-limestone and sandy-clay soils of the right bank, conferring a chalky minerality and a distinctive elegance to the wines.
- Winemaking : Aged in oak barrels, with a pursuit of balance between freshness and structure, for precise and harmonious cuvées.
Tasting notes for the wine Château Canon La Gaffelière 2011
- To the eye : Deep purple robe with garnet highlights, of a silky texture and crystalline brilliance.
- On the nose : Aromas of wild blackberry and Damascus plum intertwine with notes of black tea, cinnamon and a saline touch reminiscent of damp undergrowth.
- On the palate : Velvety attack, smooth tannins and lively acidity, carried by a chalky minerality and a long finish marked by gentle spices and a hint of liquorice.
Serve between 16 and 18°C in a Bordeaux glass to reveal its full complexity.
