Grown on Pupillin’s blue marl, this Savagnin Naturé Les Plantées 2022 is an exceptional Jura white. Vinified in barrels, it offers flint and lemon aromas, a saline palate and a silky texture. Perfect with Comté or for extended cellaring.
Cellier Saint Benoît
A family estate rooted in Pupillin, Cellier Saint Benoît has carried on a winemaking heritage focused on the authenticity of Jura terroir for four generations.
- Terroir: Blue marl soils of the Jura, at the heart of the Arbois Pupillin appellation, shape wines with distinctive minerality and rare tension.
- Winemaking: Spontaneous fermentation in barrels with indigenous yeasts produces cuvées in which the purity of Savagnin shines through without embellishment.

Tasting notes for Cellier Saint Benoît Arbois Pupillin Savagnin Naturé Les Plantées 2022
Appearance – Gold with green highlights, a silky texture and a brilliance that already hints at its vibrancy.
Nose – Notes of flint and sea salt come first, followed by a bouquet of preserved lemon, tart apple and dried white flowers, lifted by a chalky touch.
Palate – A precise opening, driven by taut acidity and saline minerality, extends into a long, lingering finish that reveals the terroir’s full elegance.
Serve between 10 and 12 °C in a large wine glass to release its aromas.

A vintage marked by balanced ripeness, in which Savagnin’s freshness and complexity are expressed with rare precision.
- Aging potential: More than ten years in a cellar, protected from light and temperature fluctuations.
