C.H. Piconnet Le Pinot Blanc Brut Nature V22 from Champagne C.H. Piconnet expresses the Côte des Bar and its Champagne-region terroir. Vinified in stainless steel tanks, this 100% Pinot Blanc spends at least 24 months on the lees. With no dosage, it is lively and mineral on the palate, with a medium body. Serve at 8–10 °C with oysters.
A family-run house rooted in the chalky slopes of the Côte des Bar, where winemaking heritage meets a pursuit of authenticity.
- Terroir : Limestone and clay-limestone soils in Neuville-sur-Seine, in Champagne, shape wines with vibrant minerality and characteristic tension.
- Winemaking : A sustainable, plot-by-plot approach that favors extended aging on the lees to reveal pure fruit and terroir complexity.
Tasting notes for Champagne C.H. Piconnet Le Pinot Blanc Brut Nature V22
– Appearance : A pale gold color with green highlights, crystal clarity and a silky texture, like a veil of light over the slopes.
– On the nose : Aromas of crisp green apple, hawthorn blossom and citrus zest, followed by fresh hazelnut and subtle mineral salinity reminiscent of breezes across the Aube vineyards.
– On the palate : A lively, precise opening driven by taut acidity and chalky minerality, while notes of Williams pear and sweet almond carry through to a long, elegant finish.
Serve between 8 and 10 °C in a champagne flute to preserve its freshness and tension.
