Tasting notes for Louis Roederer Collection 245 Magnum
To the eye – A pale gold robe, of crystalline luminosity, traversed by a stream of fine and persistent bubbles, like mineral lacework.
On the nose – First, sun-drenched yellow fruits (nectarine, candied apricot), then bitter citrus (lime zest), before opening onto notes of pollen, fresh almond and a subtle smoky touch, like an echo of the oak foudres.
On the palate – The texture is silky, almost saline, carried by a caressing bubble that envelops a lively acidity and a chalky minerality; the finish, long and chiseled, leaves an impression of woody freshness and purity.
Serve between 8 and 10°C in a tall flute or a champagne glass to preserve the complexity of the aromas.

A multi-vintage blend where the 2020 harvest brings its fruity freshness, balanced by the depth of the perpetual reserves.
- Aging potential : Ready to enjoy, this champagne already reveals its harmony, with the ability to evolve favorably for 3 to 5 years under optimal storage conditions (stable temperature, away from light).
