Pol Roger’s Pol Roger Vinothèque Brut Vintage 2006 comes from 20 Grands Crus and Premiers Crus in Champagne, between the Montagne de Reims and Côte des Blancs. Made from 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay, it matured for ten years in the cellar. Dry, mature and complex, it offers a silky texture. Serve at 6–8 °C in 2026.
Founded in 1849, this independent family-run house cultivates a Champagne-region identity in Épernay built on precision and time.
- Terroir: The grapes come from approximately 20 Grands Crus and Premiers Crus in the Montagne de Reims and Côte des Blancs, combining structure with chalky tension.
- Winemaking: Fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, extended aging on the lees in deep cellars, manual riddling and maturation after disgorgement.
Tasting notes for Pol Roger Vinothèque Brut millésimé 2006
In the glass: The white color and fine effervescence reflect this Vinothèque cuvée’s long cellar aging and extended maturation.
On the nose: Fresh notes of citrus and white-fleshed fruit develop into deeper nuances of brioche, dried fruit and chalk.
On the palate: A silky texture is supported by precise acidity, chalky minerality and salinity that carries through to a beautifully long finish.
Serving temperature: 6–8 °C, in a white wine glass with enough room for the aromas to evolve.
2006 vintage
Here, the 2006 vintage expresses itself through extended maturation, which brings out the depth and complexity of the Champagne.
- Aging potential: Store for several years in a cool, dark cellar with a stable temperature, ideally around 9 °C, away from temperature fluctuations.
