Tasting notes for Château Palmer 2017
To the eye: an intense purple robe with garnet reflections, of a velvety density announcing a generous and refined substance.
On the nose: aromas of wild blackberry and fresh blackcurrant intertwine with notes of cedar, blonde tobacco and a saline touch reminiscent of the Atlantic breezes of the Médoc.
On the palate: a silky and taut texture, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, giving way to a long and harmonious finish, where soft spices and dark fruits intertwine.
Serve at 16-18°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.
