Tasting Notes for Château Cos d'Estournel Les Pagodes de Cos 2015
To the eye: A deep garnet-red robe, of silky density, reflecting the concentration and ripeness of the vintage.
On the nose: A generous bouquet where aromas of ripe blackcurrant, wild blackberry, gentle spices and a hint of graphite intertwine, carried by a mineral freshness.
On the palate: A velvety texture, supported by a lively acidity and fine tannins, offering a long, saline finish marked by notes of liquorice and cedar.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.
