The
A wine estate rooted in Roussillon, where the heritage of old vines meets a quest for mineral purity.
- Terroir: Schist and marl soils of *Terres Noires* in Languedoc-Roussillon shape wines of chalky tension and rare precision.
- Winemaking: Extended maceration, native yeasts and aging in barrels, amphorae and concrete—an artisanal approach that reveals the soul of Muscat d’Alexandrie.
Tasting notes for Domaine Danjou-Banessy Supernova 2020
Appearance – A golden color with copper highlights, a silky texture and a slight haze.
Nose – Aromas of candied citrus zest, elderflower, acacia honey and toasted hazelnut, lifted by a saline touch reminiscent of Mediterranean sea spray.
Palate – Lively and taut, with citrusy acidity meeting chalky minerality before a long, slightly bitter finish marked by white tea and flint notes.
Serve at 12–14°C in a *Burgundy*-style white wine glass to bring out its complexity.
2020 vintage
A vintage marked by early ripeness and preserved freshness, offering a perfect balance between aromatic richness and mineral tension.
- Aging potential: Enjoy now; store in cool conditions (12–14°C) away from light.
