The Stéphane Bernaudeau Les Onglès 2020, a Chenin Blanc cuvée from the schistous hillsides of Anjou, is aged in barrels on lees. Its aromas of ripe fruit and chalky minerality give way to a fresh and silky palate. Ideal with fish or cheese, it will develop beautifully over 5 to 8 years.

To the eye: A golden robe with pale highlights, silky and slightly unctuous in texture, like a veil of light across the glass.
On the nose: Aromas of ripe Williams pear, acacia blossom, then arbutus honey, followed by a saline and chalky touch reminiscent of Anjou schist.
On the palate: A lively and taut attack, driven by precise acidity, chalky minerality, and a long finish where white fruits and a subtle, noble bitterness intertwine.
Serve between 10 and 12°C in a Burgundy-style white wine glass to reveal its full complexity.
