This 2020 Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut from De Sousa, sourced from Hauts Nemery in the Grand Cru d’Avize, brings together Chardonnay and chalky soils. Barrel-fermented, it offers notes of candied lemon and roasted hazelnut, with a lively, saline palate. Ideal for aging 5 to 10 years, it pairs beautifully with shellfish and cheese.
A family estate rooted in Avize, in the Côte des Blancs, where a winemaking heritage has been passed down with passion since 1982. Here, the vines interact with the terroir while respecting the natural world.
- Terroir : Chalky soils and Grand Cru parcels in Avize, where Chardonnay thrives in an ideal climate, producing wines of vibrant minerality.
- Winemaking : Biodynamic methods and aging in oak barrels produce cuvées that combine precision and elegance.

Nose – Fresh aromas of candied lemon and Granny Smith apple, followed by floral notes of acacia and hawthorn, then toasted hazelnut and chalky, almost saline minerality.
