Born from the limestone terroirs of Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru, the Dujac 2016 is a Pinot Noir aged 16 months in barrels. Its aromas of red fruit and its minerality unite with a lively, silky palate. Ideal through 2030, it pairs beautifully with red meats and cheeses.
A family estate rooted in the Côte de Nuits, where the legacy of Jacques Seysses lives on through exacting standards and deep respect for the terroir.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone soils of the Burgundy Grands Crus, where Pinot Noir expresses a chalky minerality and a rare elegance.
- Vinification: Biodynamic methods, whole-cluster fermentation and aging in oak barrels for wines of silky precision.
Tasting notes for Domaine Dujac Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru 2016
To the eye: A garnet red robe with deep reflections, of a velvety and luminous texture.
On the nose: Aromas of fresh raspberry and crushed strawberry intertwine with notes of violet and licorice, lifted by a mineral touch evoking flint.
On the palate: A wine of elegant tension, where bright acidity and chalky minerality support a silky texture, extended by a saline and persistent finish.
Serve at 14–16°C in a Burgundy glass to reveal its full complexity.
