Tasting notes for Domaine Dujac Echezeaux Grand Cru 2022
To the eye – A deep ruby robe of silky density, where light dances with mineral intensity.
On the nose – Aromas of smoky black plums, wild red fruits and peonies, lifted by notes of orange peel, gentle spices and a saline touch, like a breath of forest undergrowth after rain.
On the palate – An ample, velvety texture, carried by a lively acidity and chalky minerality, while precise tannins extend a long, taut finish.
Serve at 14–16°C in a Burgundy glass to release its full complexity.
Vintage 2022
A vintage marked by generous maturity and preserved freshness, offering a rare balance between concentration and elegance.
- Ageing potential: 15 to 20 years, to be stored in a cool cellar (12–14°C) away from light.
