To the eye – Garnet robe with tawny highlights, of a silky density and crystalline clarity.
On the nose – Aromas of ripe morello cherry, faded violet, damp undergrowth and a hint of liquorice, lifted by a chalky minerality and a touch of blonde tobacco.
On the palate – Velvety texture, fine and taut tannins, lively acidity carrying a long saline finish, where soft spices and candied dark fruits intertwine.
Serve at 16°C in a Burgundy glass to exalt its complexity.
