The Ruchottes-Chambertin Grand Cru 2007 from Domaine Georges Roumier expresses the limestone soils of the Côte de Nuits. This red wine, aged in barrels, offers aromas of ripe fruits and spices. On the palate, it combines density and finesse. Perfect with game or cheese, it will continue to develop in the cellar.

Tasting notes for Domaine Georges Roumier Ruchottes-Chambertin 2007
To the eye – A deep garnet robe with russet reflections, silky in density and crystalline in brilliance.
On the nose – Aromas of ripe morello cherry, faded violet, sweet licorice, and damp undergrowth, lifted by a saline touch and a hint of graphite.
On the palate – Velvety and taut texture, carried by vibrant acidity and a chalky minerality, with a long and persistent finish featuring notes of cocoa and gentle spices.
Serve between 14 and 16°C in a Burgundy glass to fully release its complexity.
Vintage 2007
A vintage marked by early ripeness and a delicate balance between freshness and concentration.
- Aging potential: Drink through 2035; store in a cool cellar (12–14°C) away from light.
