The La Cras Bourgogne 2022 rouge, crafted from biodynamic Pinot Noir, flourishes on the chalky soils of Plombières-lès-Dijon. Aged in barrels, it reveals aromas of red fruits and a precise, mineral and silky palate. Ideal with duck breast or to keep for 3 to 5 years.
Nestled on the heights of Plombières-lès-Dijon, this family estate embodies the alliance between Burgundian tradition and natural viticulture.
- Terroir: Limestone and marl soils of the AOC Bourgogne, fully south-facing – a chalky and mineral signature.
- Vinification: Biodynamic approach, hand-harvested grapes and barrel ageing for wines that are lively, precise and taut.
To the eye: Ruby robe with garnet highlights, of a silky and luminous texture.
On the nose: Freshness of morello cherry and raspberry, evolving towards notes of violet and liquorice, underlined by a saline and chalky touch.
On the palate: A lively and precise attack, silky tannins, elegant acidity and a mineral finish, carried by a saline and fruity length.
Serve at 14-15°C in a Burgundy glass to reveal its purity.
A sunny and balanced vintage, where the ripeness of the fruit meets a mineral freshness characteristic of the Côte's soils.
- Ageing potential: To be enjoyed until 2028, stored away from light and temperature variations.
