- Vinification : Gentle pressing, fermentation in clay and sandstone amphorae, without artifice, for living and authentic cuvées.
Tasting notes for Marie Courtin Côteaux Champenois Le Blanc du Tremble 2020
To the eye – A pale golden robe, of crystalline clarity, where light dances on silky, slightly chalky highlights.
On the nose – Aromas of crunchy green apple, linden blossom and candied lemon zest, lifted by a saline touch and a stony minerality that evokes the limestone soils.
On the palate – A texture that is both tender and taut, carried by a lively acidity and a persistent salinity, stretching into a long, mineral finish where notes of fresh almond and damp chalk intertwine.
Serve between 10 and 12°C in a white Burgundy wine glass to reveal its full complexity.
