Tasting notes for Marie Courtin Présence Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut 2020
To the eye: A straw-yellow robe with golden highlights, traversed by a fine and persistent bead, of silky elegance.
On the nose: Aromas of crunchy apple and Williams pear intertwine with notes of fresh mint and acacia blossom, lifted by a saline touch and a discreet imprint of fresh yeast.
On the palate: A lively and precise attack, carried by a taut acidity and a chalky minerality, while hints of toasted biscuit and candied fruit stretch into a long, saline finish.
Serve between 6 and 8 °C in a champagne flute to preserve its freshness and effervescence.
