R Pouillon Côteaux Champenois Paunet 2022 rouge, from the clay-limestone soils of Mareuil-sur-Aÿ. This 100% Pinot Noir offers notes of cherry and raspberry, underscored by a mineral touch. Its silky and lively palate wins over with its balance. Perfect through 2027, it pairs beautifully with meats and cheeses.

A family estate rooted in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ since 1947, where three generations patiently cultivate an exceptional terroir.
- Terroir: 6.5 hectares spread across 36 plots on clay-limestone soils, the cradle of the great Pinot Noirs of Champagne.
- Vinification: a balance of tradition and innovation, producing wines that express the purity of fruit and the minerality of the terroir.
Tasting notes for R Pouillon Côteaux Champenois Paunet 2022
To the eye – a cherry-red robe of crystalline clarity, animated by silky reflections and an almost liquid texture.
On the nose – aromas of morello cherry and fresh raspberry unfold gently, followed by a hint of wild blackberry and a subtle chalky note, like a mineral breath rising from the hillsides.
On the palate – a lively and precise attack, where the tension of the fruit blends with an elegant acidity, carried by a fine tannic structure and a saline finish of remarkable length.
Serve at 16 °C in a Burgundy glass to release its full complexity.
