From the limestone terroirs of Vosne-Romanée, the Mugneret-Gibourg Echezeaux 2023 is an elegant Pinot Noir. Its aromas of cherry, spice and flowers precede a silky, mineral palate. Best enjoyed with roast duck or a cheese board.
Domaine Georges Mugneret-Gibourg
A family estate rooted at the heart of Vosne-Romanée, where Pinot Noir reveals the soul of Burgundy's greatest terroirs.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone soils of the Grand Cru appellations, shaped by a unique microclimate, yielding wines of remarkable mineral precision.
- Vinification: Traditional method, carefully mastered oak barrel aging, and absolute respect for the fruit for a pure and elegant expression.
Tasting notes for Domaine Georges Mugneret-Gibourg Echezeaux Grand Cru 2023
To the eye: Deep garnet-red robe with a silky, luminous texture, heralding a dense and refined character.
On the nose: Aromas of fresh black cherry, delicate violet, then liquorice and undergrowth, lifted by a saline and chalky note characteristic of the terroir.
On the palate: A velvety attack, lively acidity and fine tannins, carried by a persistent minerality and a long finish where gentle spices and ripe fruits intertwine.
Serve at 14–16°C in a Burgundy glass to reveal its full complexity.
Vintage 2023
A vintage marked by optimal grape maturity, combining concentration and freshness, for a wine of great harmony.
- Aging potential: 15 to 20 years, to be stored under ideal conditions (stable temperature, controlled humidity).
