The Petit Roy Hautes Côtes de Beaune 2021 Blanc from Domaine Petit-Roy is a Chardonnay from the Hautes Côtes de Beaune. Vinified in used barrels, it combines white fruits, minerality and a lively, silky palate. Ideal with white meats or fish, to be enjoyed now or within 3 to 5 years.

- Terroir: Well-drained clay-limestone soils of the Hautes Côtes de Beaune appellation, with a southern exposure, shaping wines of a chalky minerality and a taut elegance.
- Winemaking: Gentle pressing, natural fermentation in used barrels and patient ageing, without artifice, to preserve the purity of the Chardonnay.

Tasting notes for the wine Domaine Petit-Roy Hautes Côtes de Beaune 2021 Blanc
To the eye: Pale golden colour with green highlights, of a silky clarity and a mineral brilliance.
On the nose: Aromas of hawthorn blossom, crisp green apple, then toasted hazelnut and flint, lifted by a discreet saline touch.
On the palate: Velvety texture and lively acidity, carried by a chalky minerality that extends into a saline and precise finish of elegant length.
Serve between 10 and 12°C in a white Burgundy glass to reveal its tension and complexity.
