Château Pichon Longueville Baron presents Les Tourelles de Longueville 1995, a Pauillac with aromas of blackberry and spice. Sourced from the gravelly soils of the Left Bank, this wine combines freshness with velvety tannins. Perfect for cellaring until 2030, it pairs beautifully with braised meats and game.
A historic estate rooted at the heart of Pauillac, where excellence and viticultural heritage have been passed down through generations.
- Terroir: Gravelly soils of the Left Bank, typical of the Pauillac appellation, shaping wines of precise structure and distinctive minerality.
- Vinification: Rigorous parcel selection and masterful aging to reveal the elegance of the fruit and the depth of the terroir.
To the eye: A garnet red robe with brick-tinted reflections, dense and slightly veiled by time, revealing a silky texture and generous substance.
On the nose: Aromas of wild blackberry, candied blackcurrant and golden tobacco, underlined by a hint of cedar and a subtle chalky note reminiscent of the gravelly soils of Pauillac.
On the palate: A round and fleshy attack, carried by a lively acidity and a saline minerality, stretching into a long and harmonious finish, marked by velvety tannins and a persistent elegance.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to fully release its aromas.
A vintage defined by the optimal ripeness of the grapes, offering a rare balance between concentration and freshness.
- Aging potential: Best cellared for another 5 to 10 years under optimal conditions (stable temperature, controlled humidity).
