Tasting notes for Château Rayas Pignan 2014
- To the eye : Deep garnet robe with ruby hues, of a velvety texture and crystalline clarity.
- On the nose : Aromas of fresh kirsch, spring violets, followed by hints of liquorice and a saline touch, like a Mediterranean breeze over the pebbles.
- On the palate : A silky attack, lively acidity and chalky minerality, carried by tannins of taut elegance, for a long and saline finish.
Serve at 16-18°C in a Burgundy glass to fully release its complexity.

A fresh and precise vintage, where the tension and purity of the fruit express themselves with a rare elegance in the southern Rhône.
- Aging potential : To be enjoyed until 2039, to be kept in a cool cellar (12-14°C) and away from light.
