Born from the legendary terroir of Chambertin Clos de Bèze, this Grand Cru 2018 from Domaine Prieuré Roch captivates with its notes of blackcurrant and liquorice. On the palate, its velvety texture and chalky minerality make it a wine of great elegance, ideal with a roast or truffles.
Domaine Prieuré Roch
Nestled in the heart of the Côte de Nuits, this estate embodies the union of a Burgundian heritage and a constant pursuit of excellence.
- Terroir: Its vines are rooted in the limestone and marl soils of Gevrey-Chambertin, Vosne-Romanée and Nuits-Saint-Georges, where each plot reveals a unique expression of Pinot Noir.
- Vinification: A meticulous approach, blending tradition and precision, to preserve the purity of the fruit and the minerality of the great terroirs.
Tasting notes for the wine Domaine Prieuré Roch Chambertin Clos de Bèze 2018
To the eye – A deep ruby red robe, of a silky density, where light reflects in garnet hues.
On the nose – First, aromas of black cherry and wild blackberry, followed by a hint of liquorice and damp undergrowth, before a chalky and slightly saline note comes to balance the whole.
On the palate – A velvety texture, carried by a lively acidity and a taut minerality, stretching into a long and precise finish, where soft spices and melted tannins intertwine.
Serve at 16-18°C in a Burgundy glass to release its full complexity.

A generous vintage, marked by optimal ripeness of the grapes, offering a harmonious structure and a beautiful concentration.
