The Champagne Les Ursules R21 by Cédric Bouchard, a pure Pinot Noir Blanc de Noirs, is born on the chalky soils of Celles-sur-Ource. Without dosage, it captivates with its minerality and notes of dark fruits. Full and taut on the palate, it can be cellared until 2048 and pairs beautifully with crustaceans or noble poultry.
An estate where Champagne reinvents itself in respect of the terroir and of time, rooted at the heart of the Côte des Bar.
- Terroir: Chalky and clay-limestone soils of Celles-sur-Ource, the cradle of an exceptional Pinot Noir, shaped by a continental climate and generous slopes.
- Vinification: Minimalist method, slow fermentations, indigenous yeasts and controlled yields for cuvées of rare purity, without artifice.
Tasting notes for the wine Cédric Bouchard Roses de Jeanne Les Ursules R21 2021
To the eye: A golden robe with pale highlights, of a crystalline clarity, where the fine bubbles dance with a silky elegance.
On the nose: Aromas of ripe black cherry, tart redcurrant and peach blossom, followed by a touch of toasted bread and a saline minerality evoking the chalky soils of the Côte des Bar.
On the palate: A full and velvety texture, carried by a lively acidity and a mineral tension that balances a deep fruity concentration, for a long and precise finish where salinity lingers with grace.
Serve between 8 and 10°C in a narrow Champagne flute to preserve the fineness of the bubbles.
Vintage 2021
A vintage marked by generous fruity ripeness, tempered by a mineral freshness that promises a harmonious evolution.
- Aging potential: To be enjoyed until 2048, provided it is stored in a cool cellar (12–14°C) away from light.
