The Champagne Presle R19 from Roses de Jeanne is an unencumbered Blanc de Noirs, sourced from the clay-limestone terroir of Presle (Aube). Crafted in 2019, it reveals notes of peach, almond and brioche, with a lively, mineral palate. Enjoy through 2030 with oysters or porcini risotto.
A family estate rooted in the hillsides of the Aube, where Cédric Bouchard cultivates an uncompromising vision of Champagne – single-vineyard, vintage-dated and without compromise.
- Terroir : Kimmeridgian clay-limestone soils of Celles-sur-Ource, where the Pinot Noir draws a chalky minerality and a saline tension.
- Vinification : Delicate pressing, fermentation in tank and extended aging on lees, for bubbles of crystalline purity and intact terroir expression.
Tasting notes for Roses de Jeanne Presle R19 2019
In the glass: Pale gold robe with green highlights, a silky texture and a fine, persistent effervescence, like a veil of silk over stone.
On the nose: Aromas of vine peach and ripe apricot intertwine with notes of roasted hazelnut and golden brioche, lifted by a saline touch and a hint of hawthorn blossom.
On the palate: The attack is lively and precise, carried by a taut acidity and a chalky minerality that stretches into a long, saline finish, where stone fruits mingle with a subtle bitterness of citrus zest.
Serve between 8 and 10°C in a narrow flute to preserve the freshness and complexity of the aromas.
