Tasting notes for Domaine Trapet Père et Fils Chambertin Grand Cru 2006
Eye – A deep garnet-red robe with tawny highlights, dense and silky, revealing a generous substance and beautiful maturity.
Nose – A bouquet where candied black cherry, sweet liquorice, notes of undergrowth and a touch of violet intermingle, all supported by chalky minerality and a hint of graphite.
Palate – A velvety texture, carried by lively acidity and saline tension, where the melted tannins give way to a long and persistent finish, marked by aromas of stone fruit and gentle spices.
Serve between 14 and 16°C in a Burgundy glass to reveal its full complexity.
