On the nose – Aromas of wild blackberry, candied prune, cedar and blond tobacco, underlined by a mineral hint of graphite and a touch of damp undergrowth.
On the palate – A velvety attack, a lively acidity and a tannic structure still present, carried by notes of liquorice, cocoa and a saline, long and persistent finish.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.
