To the eye: Garnet robe with brick-red hues, of silky density and still lively brilliance despite the decades.
On the nose: Aromas of candied black cherry, blonde tobacco, damp undergrowth and liquorice, lifted by a saline touch and a hint of graphite.
On the palate: Velvety yet taut texture, carried by precise acidity and chalky minerality, with a long and slightly spiced finish where ripe fruits and tertiary notes intertwine.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to fully release its aromas.
