The Esprit de Valandraud 2018, the second wine of Château Valandraud, is born on the clay-limestone soils of Saint-Émilion Grand Cru. Crafted from Merlot (90%), Cabernet Franc and Malbec, it offers aromas of dark fruits and spices, enhanced by notes of violet. On the palate, its silky texture and minerality blend with hints of cocoa. Perfect for 5 to 10 years of aging, it pairs beautifully with red meats and game.
A pioneer of garage wines on the Right Bank, this family estate has embodied audacity and precision since 1989, rooted in the clay-limestone hillsides of Saint-Émilion.
- Terroir : Clay-limestone soils and gravel of the Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellation, where minerality blends with sun-kissed ripeness.
- Vinification : Aged in new oak barrels for modern cuvées, combining fruity concentration and silky structure.
