Tasting notes for Château Canon Canon 1988
To the eye: Garnet red robe with tawny glints, of a silky density and crystalline brilliance.
On the nose: Aromas of ripe blackcurrant, blonde tobacco and cedar, lifted by a spicy hint of black pepper and a subtle chalky saltiness.
On the palate: Velvety texture, carried by a lively acidity and persistent minerality, with a long and harmonious finish where dark fruits and roasted notes intertwine.
Serve between 16 and 18°C in a Bordeaux glass, after one hour of decanting.
