A reliable reference from Meursault, in Burgundy

Wines from Domaine Rémi Jobard: buy at the best price

Located alongside the estates of Coche Dury, Boisson, Pierre Morey, Roulot and Vincent Girardin at the heart of the Meursault appellation in Burgundy, Domaine Rémi Jobard spans 9 hectares, of which 2 are planted with red Burgundy (Pinot Noir) and 7 with white Burgundy (Chardonnay and a very small amount of Aligoté) on clay-limestone soils. A modest winemaker from Meursault producing 50,000 bottles per year, he is nonetheless a prominent figure, renowned for the remarkable expression of his white Meursault wines at village appellation level, and especially as Meursault 1er cru. Active since the 1991 vintage, he began working the vines using organic farming methods as early as 1994, achieving full certification in 2005. Rémi Jobard produces sublime Meursault 1er cru wines offering suppleness and richness, whose expression develops wonderfully over time: the excellent reviews and scores of Domaine Rémi Jobard attest to its excellence.
