Château Beau-Séjour Bécot
A family estate rooted on the clay-limestone plateau of Saint-Émilion, where the winemaking heritage has been passed down through generations.
- Terroir: 17 hectares of vines on the slopes of Saint-Martin de Mazerat, where the clay-limestone soils sculpt wines of distinctive minerality and rare elegance.
- Vinification: A parcel-by-parcel approach and gentle extraction, combining Bordeaux tradition with modern precision to reveal the purity of the fruit and the complexity of the grape varieties.
Tasting notes for Château Beau-Séjour Bécot 1988
To the eye – A garnet red robe with brick-red reflections, dense and silky, betraying a perfect ripeness and a harmonious structure.
On the nose – Aromas of wild blackberry, candied prune and cedar, lifted by a hint of blonde tobacco and a subtle chalky, almost saline note.
On the palate – A velvety texture, carried by a lively acidity and a calcareous minerality, with a long, taut finish where gentle spices and dark fruits intertwine.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to unlock its full complexity.
