The Cuvée Sainte Anne from Chartogne-Taillet, sourced from the chalky terroirs of Merfy, blends Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier. Fresh and mineral, this champagne aged in stainless steel and barrels reveals citrus, stone fruits, and a saline touch. Silky on the palate, it pairs beautifully with seafood until 2030.
A family estate rooted in Merfy, where time sculpts Champagnes of rare precision.
- Terroir: Chalky and clay-limestone soils from the Montagne de Reims, shaping wines of vibrant minerality and saline freshness.
- Vinification: Artisanal blending in stainless steel tanks and neutral barrels, for a pure expression of the terroir and a remarkably fine effervescence.
Tasting notes for the Chartogne-Taillet Sainte Anne wine
To the eye – A pale and luminous robe, traversed by a fine and persistent effervescence, like a dance of silky bubbles.
On the nose – Aromas of lime and white peach blossom into a saline minerality, enhanced by notes of toasted brioche and honeysuckle, all carried by an airy freshness.
On the palate – A creamy and taut texture unfolds, balancing flavors of ripe citrus and white cherry with a lively acidity and a long finish, marked by a subtle chalky bitterness.
Serve between 8 and 10°C in a Champagne flute to preserve its purity and brilliance.
