Discover Caudron Cornalyne, an exceptional cuvée from the Caudron estate in Passy-Grigny, in the heart of the Marne Valley. Heir to a winegrowing tradition embodied by Abbé Aimé Caudron, this estate passionately cultivates the Meunier grape variety on a clay-limestone terroir, sublimating its character in elegant, original champagnes.
This brut champagne, with a controlled dosage of 9 g/l, offers a perfect balance between freshness and complexity. Made from 100% Pinot Meunier grapes, 50% of which are vinified in oak barrels, it combines the finesse of the grape variety with a subtle woody touch, revealing a unique depth after prolonged aging on the lees.
To the eye, its brilliant gold color sparkles with fine bubbles. On the nose, aromas of white flowers and ripe fruit such as peach and pear intertwine with notes of toast and vanilla. On the palate, it seduces with a fleshy texture, elegant freshness and a complex finish, marked by hints of caramel and sweet spices. Ideal with foie gras or mature cheese, this champagne will delight fans of atypical, refined cuvées.
