This Puligny-Montrachet 2021, from a 0.78 ha monopole, reveals chalky soils and a characteristic minerality. The Chardonnay expresses aromas of citrus and white flowers, a taut palate and a saline finish. Perfect with shellfish or poultry, it can be kept for 5–8 years.
Nestled in the heart of Puligny-Montrachet, this family estate has embodied Burgundian elegance for generations. A tradition where respect for the terroir takes precedence, crafting wines of rare precision.
- Terroir : A monopole of 0.78 hectares on clay-limestone soils, typical of the Puligny-Montrachet appellation, where chalk and marl confer a distinctive minerality to the wines.
- Vinification : A natural approach – ploughing, organic fertilisers, manual harvesting – to reveal the purity of Chardonnay, between tension and silkiness.
In the glass: a pale golden robe of crystalline clarity, with silver reflections that dance with lightness.
On the nose: notes of hawthorn blossom and lime zest unfold first, followed by a hint of toasted hazelnut and a touch of fresh ginger, all underpinned by a chalky minerality.
On the palate: the attack is silky, carried by a lively and precise acidity, while aromas of Williams pear and flint extend into a saline and lingering finish.
Serve between 12 and 14°C, in a Burgundy glass to enhance its complexity.
A vintage marked by vibrant freshness, where the balance between ripeness and crisp acidity gives birth to wines of great precision.
- Ageing potential : To be cellared until 2030 under optimal conditions (stable temperature between 12 and 14°C, controlled humidity).
