To the eye: Deep garnet robe with tawny highlights, of silky texture and a chalky density that heralds its maturity.
On the nose: Aromas of ripe morello cherry, faded violet, damp undergrowth and liquorice, lifted by a saline touch and a hint of black truffle.
On the palate: A velvety attack, lively tension carried by a precise acidity, tannins still present but well-integrated, a long and mineral finish where soft spices and leather notes intertwine.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Burgundy glass to release its full complexity.
