Sourced from the limestone hillsides of Musigny, the 1998 from Domaine Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier is a Pinot Noir of elegance. Aged in barrels, it reveals Morello cherry, faded rose and spices. A silky, mineral and persistent palate. Perfect with duck breast or mushrooms, to be kept until 2030.

Nestled in the heart of Chambolle-Musigny, this family estate has perpetuated a viticultural heritage of exigence and refinement since 1863.

To the eye: a garnet-red robe with tawny reflections, of a silky and luminous density.
On the nose: aromas of black cherry, violet and forest floor evolve toward notes of licorice and truffle, underlined by a chalky and saline touch.
On the palate: a velvety texture, carried by a lively acidity and a taut minerality, stretching into a long and precise finish, where gentle spices and ripe fruits intertwine.
Serving temperature: 14–16°C – Burgundy glass to enhance its complexity.
