This Griotte-Chambertin Grand Cru 1986 from Maison Joseph Drouhin is born on the limestone soils of Gevrey-Chambertin. Pinot Noir aged in barrels, it reveals cherry, leather and spices. Its palate, taut and silky, lingers with elegance. Perfect with red meats or cheeses until 2030.

In the glass: Garnet robe with tawny highlights, of silky density and mineral brilliance.
On the nose: First lively with notes of cherry liqueur and candied cherry, then deeper accents of fine leather, nutmeg and a saline touch evoking damp undergrowth.
On the palate: Velvety texture, melted but present tannins, precise acidity and a long finish where truffle and gentle spices intertwine, carried by a chalky minerality.
Serve between 16 and 18°C in a Burgundy glass to release its aromas.
