The Griotte-Chambertin Grand Cru 2013 from Domaine Ponsot is born on the clay-limestone soils of Gevrey-Chambertin. This Pinot Noir offers cherry, raspberry and gentle spices, with a fresh palate, silky tannins and minerality. To be cellared for 20 years, it pairs beautifully with game and red meats.

On the nose: Aromas of morello cherry and fresh raspberry intertwine with deeper notes of ripe plum, black tea and sandalwood, lifted by a saline, earthy touch.
On the palate: Velvety and taut texture, carried by a lively acidity and chalky minerality, leading to a long finish of remarkable purity.
Serve between 16 and 18°C in a Burgundy glass to reveal its full complexity.
