A family estate rooted in the heart of Pomerol, where viticultural heritage intertwines with a constant pursuit of excellence.
- Terroir: soils of clay and gravelly clay, the signature of a deep and structured Pomerol.
- Vinification: a traditional approach, where time and precision reveal the soul of the Merlot and Cabernet Franc.
Tasting notes for Château L'Eglise-Clinet Eglise Clinet 1994
In appearance: a garnet red robe with tiled reflections, dense and silky, revealing a harmonious maturity.
On the nose: aromas of wild blackberry and blackcurrant unfold, followed by notes of cedar, black truffle and a saline touch evoking damp undergrowth.
On the palate: a velvety texture, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, stretches into a long and elegant finish, where gentle spices and candied fruits intertwine.
Serve between 16 and 18°C, in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.

A vintage in which climatic rigour sculpted wines of rare elegance, combining power and finesse.
- Ageing potential: another 10 to 15 years for bottles kept away from light and temperature variations, ideally between 12 and 14°C.
