Heir to a winemaking lineage dating back to 1797, this family estate embodies the soul of Vosne-Romanée, where each cuvée tells the story of the alliance between time and Burgundian terroir.

Tasting notes for François Lamarche Clos Vougeot 1959
In the glass: Garnet robe with tawny hues, of a silky and slightly time-veiled texture, revealing a rare density for this vintage.
On the nose: Aromas of candied black cherry, damp undergrowth, autumn truffle and liquorice, underscored by a saline touch and a hint of blonde tobacco.
On the palate: Velvety attack, lively acidity and chalky minerality that stretches into a long and taut finish, where gentle spices and ripe fruit intertwine.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Burgundy glass to release its full complexity.
