The Echezeaux Grand Cru 1994 from Domaine François Lamarche is a red wine sourced from the clay-limestone slopes of the Côte de Nuits. This Pinot Noir offers notes of cherry, spices and truffle, with an elegant and mineral palate. Perfect with duck breast or matured cheeses.

A family estate rooted in the heart of Vosne-Romanée, where the Burgundian heritage has been passed down since 1797.

Tasting notes for the wine Domaine François Lamarche Echezeaux Grand Cru 1994
To the eye: a garnet robe with tawny reflections, of silky density and a brilliance subtly veiled by time.
On the nose: aromas of ripe morello cherry, damp undergrowth, sweet liquorice and faded violet, lifted by a chalky touch and a hint of black truffle.
On the palate: a velvety texture, carried by a lively acidity and a saline minerality, with a long and taut finish where soft spices and melted tannins intertwine.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Burgundy glass to exalt its complexity.
