Personalise your experience
Domaine François Lamarche presents this Clos Vougeot Grand Cru 2010, sourced from the limestone soils of Vougeot. This Pinot Noir, aged in barrels, offers floral and fruity notes, a silky palate, and precise minerality. Perfect through 2026, it pairs beautifully with red meats and bold cheeses.
Domaine François Lamarche
A family estate rooted in the heart of Vosne-Romanée, where five generations of exacting standards craft wines of rare precision.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone soils of the Côte de Nuits, the cradle of Burgundian Grand Crus, where Pinot Noir reveals a chalky minerality and a floral elegance.
- Vinification: A fruit-forward approach, aged in barrels for a silky structure and vibrant tension.
Tasting notes for Domaine François Lamarche Clos Vougeot 2010
To the eye: Deep garnet robe with ruby highlights, of a silky density and crystalline brilliance.
On the nose: Aromas of fresh violet, ripe black cherry, damp undergrowth, and a saline touch reminiscent of flint stones, all enveloped in a chalky minerality.
On the palate: Velvety and taut texture, carried by a lively acidity and a mineral salinity, with a long and precise finish where gentle spices and dark fruits intertwine.
Serve at 16-18°C in a Burgundy glass to reveal its full complexity.
Vintage 2010
A vintage marked by slow ripening and preserved freshness, ideal for age-worthy wines.
- Aging potential: 10 to 15 years, to be stored in a cool cellar (12-14°C) away from light.
