The Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande 2022, a fine wine of Pauillac, from gravelly soils. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (78%), Merlot, and Cabernet Franc, aged 18 months in barrels. Fruity nose, velvety and mineral palate. Ideal for 10–15 years, it pairs beautifully with meats and cheeses.
A historic estate in Pauillac, classified as a Second Grand Cru, where Bordeaux elegance blends with an exceptional terroir passed down through generations.
- Terroir: Deep gravels and sandy-clay subsoils of Pauillac, conferring a mineral structure and a characteristic tension to the wines.
- Vinification: Parcel-by-parcel approach and barrel aging, for cuvées of remarkable precision and complexity.
To the eye – A deep purple robe with garnet reflections, of silky density and crystalline brilliance.
On the nose – A generous bouquet blending fresh raspberry, ripe blackcurrant, floral notes of red rose and rosewood, lifted by a saline and mineral touch.
On the palate – A velvety and fleshy texture, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, with aromas of black cherry and a long finish of silky-fine tannins.
Serve between 16 and 18°C, in a Bordeaux glass to release its full aromatic complexity.
A sunny and well-balanced vintage, where the ripeness of the fruit combines with a mineral freshness, the signature of the great wines of Pauillac.
- Aging potential: 20 to 30 years, to be stored under optimal conditions (stable temperature, controlled humidity).
