Tasting notes for Château Pichon-Longueville Baron 2010
To the eye – A deep red robe with garnet reflections, dense and silky, revealing generous substance and crystalline brilliance.
On the nose – An intense bouquet where ripe blackcurrant, fresh cedar, notes of graphite and a hint of dark cocoa intertwine, lifted by a subtle mineral salinity.
On the palate – A precise attack, carried by velvety tannins and lively acidity, while chalky minerality and black fruit aromas linger in a long and taut finish.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.
