Françoise Bedel Origin'elle Extra Brut
Immerse yourself in the world of Françoise Bedel Origin'Elle Extra Brut, an exceptional cuvée from the Françoise Bedel estate in Crouttes-sur-Marne, in the Marne Valley. Since 1979, this family-run business has been cultivating 8.4 hectares of biodynamic vines on a clay-limestone terroir to produce authentic, expressive champagnes.
This Extra Brut champagne, with a light dosage of 1.6 g/l, reveals remarkable freshness and purity. The blend is dominated by Pinot Meunier (80%) for roundness, complemented by 5% Pinot Noir for structure and 15% Chardonnay for finesse. Aged 4 years on lees, it develops a unique complexity and aromatic richness.
To the eye, its deep gold color sparkles with fine bubbles. On the nose, aromas of yellow fruits such as mirabelle plum and ripe pear mingle with notes of honey and white flowers, with a touch of minerality. On the palate, it offers a silky texture, lively freshness and a slightly spicy, nutty finish. Perfect as an aperitif or with seafood, this champagne embodies the elegance and soul of Françoise Bedel's biodynamic know-how.
